I was advised by customer service that my smart oven pro toaster oven was approved for a replacement under warranty, had a few discussions over the phone and was advised by their rep i would be receiving a new unit. I got the order notification today and it says it is a remanufactured unit. Why would a customer ever accept a used unit as a warranty replacement - I have never seen a company send out a used product as replacement before, i don't think that is right. I am so disappointed in in their customer service and business practices. We own 4 other Breville appliances and have always replaced them on our own and never bothered with warranty process before.
I've had two of these ovens. The first was fantastic in every way so I bought another which must have been a lemon. Breville sent me what looked like a used replacement and it now makes a terrible loud noise when using the fan! I've contacted customer service many times and all they're offering is a discount off a new one! They should replace it as it's a defect in their product, but they're not supporting the products by doing so. I can't recommend because they don't stand by their product. REGARDING YOUR RESPONSE BELOW: I DID what you suggested weeks ago. That's how I knew the facts behind what I posted! Why else would I review as I did above unless I had the experience that I had!?

I can’t say enough good things about this company. I’ve been using Breville products for many years now and with each one I am happier I chose this brand. I love using the panini press to make extra crispy turkey bacon for my husband, the stand mixer every single week to mix dough for our challah, and the smart oven is really the workhorse of our home, from toast to pizza to roasting and air-frying veggies to proofing bread, there is not a single day we don’t use this machine. Customer service has always been helpful with tips on cleaning the items and prolonging their life. Overall really great products, looking forward to future purchases!

Update:
I have responded to the link that was provided (both methods, on your website and via email). No response, no phone calls.
I don't understand why I am opening a new case when I was told yesterday by your Customer Service representative a case was opened (but I was denied the case number). I have brought this issue to your attention for a few days days to no avail.

We have been very loyal customers for years. We own several Breville small appliances.
Recently, our blender stopped working. I reached out to Customer Service seeking assistance since our appliance is under warranty (less than one year). I responded to an email, didn't hear back, so I called. I spoke with a representative and was told. "No, I can't help you. I'm going to email a manager and he will call you when he calls you." I asked when and was told, "I don't know." I asked for the case number and was not provided with it either.
When the email was sent and when I spoke with Customer Service, I specifically stated I did not want to post on Trustpilot to get their attention. Unfortunately, I have to resort to this again. So disappointing. Service is horrid even if your appliance is under warranty, good luck receiving proper service and care! Wait times on the phone lines... brutal.
Buyers beware!
Hi, I bought the breville dual boiler coffee machine last month and each time when I turn it on the machine switched off by itself after 25 min or 30 min max.
How can I keep the machine turn on for long time?!
We purchased a new Breville Frothier about a year and a half ago and it worked great , woke up one morning
and did not work called I Drink Coffee sent it in and they replaced.
Great companies to deal with good appliance and good people.

Breville service ? No complaints because there’s no such thing. We returned a three month old coffee machine for a warranty issue and they’ve had it for six weeks already and no sign of the required part or an eta on it. The so called, non existent, service department is nearly impossible to contact so rather than replace a defective unit, we wait, and wait, and wait. We’ll never buy another breville product, and I mean never
I have had a defective oven since Thanksgiving. I called and completed a warranty, it was approved but 1/14/2021 still no oven, was charged 140 as I requested to have new oven sent out before I shipped mine back due to needing the oven. I was told charged automatically and either I accept charge and not have oven or they refund money and I can only get a replacement if and when it comes in.
I was told they came in Monday but never got a confirming email.
I called today after waiting 4 business days and was upset to learn they did not ship it out and are waiting for more or come in.
I understand delays due to covid. But this is unacceptable.
I may have to request the ship tags, send defective oven back and buy some tj jng else.
They have a warranty for 2 years but cannot replace it and I don’t feel company is stable or customer oriented.
I may buy a completely new oven different brand and try to get money I spent on oven back since they cannot provide a replacement in a reasonable period of time.
Beware of dealing with them.
If they didn’t charge me the 140 for ship in advance and say hold on credit card wouldn’t be charged would have time to ship defective one back, if they wouldn’t keep
Saying it’s coming in likely next week, if they wouldn’t say your oven is in high demand.
They need to fix this and honor their warranty.
Right now oven is 400 I was charged additional 140 and have an oven that needs to and has been approved to be replaced and I am out 540 and not happy.
Pick another company to deal with is my suggestion.
We purchased a Breville K-Cup coffee machine. It was a lot more expensive than others. This machine is only about 5 years old. Still looks great but it has gone kaput. I'm no tech but it seems as though the pump has gone. It only produces a few drips of coffee and there is water under the machine. I submitted an inquiry on December 21. I never received a response so I had to call - it is now Jan 7. I don't care about covid this is horrible customer service. After waiting on hold for who knows how long I speak to a young lady who acted as though she could care less and I could not understand her. Now the fun part- they have discontinued this product and HAVE NO PARTS. So in essence I throw it away- oh but they'll give me a 20% discount if I buy a new one. NO THANKS!! Breville is an over priced POS.
I purchased a Breville Barista Express BES870BSXL last week. I can pour espresso, and steam wand works well to make foamed milk, however, hot water doesn't run trough hot water outlet.
I'm sure my machine is an initial defective product.
UPDATE:
Breville Support reached out to me directly to resolve the issue with my toaster. I'm very satisfied with the level of care, support and willingness to work with me. Highly satisfied and would recommend based on customer service alone.

Breville Long Slot Toaster - BTA830XL
Bought this Breville Toaster from Breville, on Amazon, on December 26 2017 as a Christmas Gift to myself. After "almost" three (3) years of standard use it decided to spark and let our a flame from the center heating panel which no longer works. Immediately turned it off due to the safety hazard. Given the price I paid, I am stunned by how long this product lasted... You would think that an expensive toaster would be reliable and at least last a decent amount of time...
After contacting customer service they are now asking me to pay $99.00 to service the toaster... I'm so disappointed. This toaster is now going to cost me almost $300 dollars over 3 years which is absolutely absurd. Given the cost, expense of repair and lack of reliability I DO NOT recommend anyone buy a Breville product.
Extremely disappointed.

Got a brand new Breville toaster oven for a Christmas gift 3 years ago. It worked great for the first while, now if buzzes and the lights flicker and it beeps on its own. Has to always be unplugged after you are done using it or this happens. I got rid of a 10+ year old black and decker toaster oven when I got this. I should have kept it. Breville wanted $170 to service the oven. Why would I pay 170 to get another 3 years (maybe) out of your overpriced hunk of junk when I can buy something for superior for much less? Stay away from anything labeled Breville.
